THE HOMESTAY MOTHER MUST NEVER LEAVE THE HOME OVERNIGHT WHILE ACCOMMODATING STUDENTS
Whether your student is over or under 18 years, the Homestay Mother of each Homestay home must reside overnight in the home while a student is in residence.
If you have to leave you home in an emergency, contact our office by Phone before leaving your home.
If special circumstances occur and you have to be away from your home when you have students residing with you, we can assist.
We require two weeks’ notice prior to your departure.
If you have a friend or relative who has a WWCC card, who can take your student, then we need to be advised of this arrangement so as permission can be granted from the school the student attends.
If the time you are away is more than two weeks then we suggest that we relocate the student from your home on a permanent basis.
Accommodating a student, especially an Under 18 year student is a commitment, not only for providing a service but for a period of time. A suggestion is to take holidays when your student has holidays.
